BFN Group presents “Boxing Fight Night” on September 21st in Antwerp, Belgium – Said Ouali in main event

BFN Group, a world class kickboxing promotional company, is proud to announce that the company has decided to further expand its activities and has scheduled their first boxing event on Sept 21st in the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium.  The private company is based in Belgium and owned by Swiss investors.

Mr. Nicolas Bourg, CEO of BFN Group, has a passion for boxing and wants to boost boxing into Belgium. "Belgium has a long boxing history, not to many people know that Sugar Ray Robinson fought twice in Belgium (Brussels and Antwerp)” Bourg said in latest announcement.

During the first boxing event, BFN will present a major fight card for Belgium, Said Ouali (won 28 (KO 20) + lost 4) will return to Belgium, after the controversial fight against Bailey in 2010.  Ouali currently training and living in Miami, Florida will headline the spectacular event from BFN.  On the undercard Jackson Osei Bonsu, Harut Grigorian, Delfine Persoon and Herve Hubeaux have already been confirmed for this major Belgium event.

The event “Boxing Fight Night” will be a first of a serie of boxing events scheduled in Belgium and other European markets. For its first event, BFN signed a deal with the Belgium broadcasting channel Sporting Telenet for live broadcast of their event in Antwerp. Currently BFN is negotiating international TV coverage in numerous main boxing markets.

Statement Regarding Alka Matewa

ENGLISH:
Today BFN Group has decided to release Alka Matelwa from all contractual onbligation with BFN. The decision has been taken after Alka Matewa not showing up at last night event in Maldegem.
Prior to the no show Alka Matewa was also not able to make the contractual agreed weight for his fight against Lefterio Perego.
Of course BFN Group wants to wish Alka Matewa all the best in his career.

FRANCAIS:
Aujourd'hui BFN Group a décidé de mettre fin au contrat et de libérer Alka Matewa de ses obligations contractuelles.
La décision a été prise après avoir constaté qu'Alka Matewa ne se soit pas présenté pour combattre ce week-end à un événement à Maldegem.
A noter que le jours précédent il n'a pas respecté son obligation contractuelle d'être aux poids lors de la pesée pour son combat à Maldegem face à Lefterio Perego.
BFN Group lui souhaite le meilleur pour sa future carrière et bonne chance.

Vandaag heeft de BFN Group directie besloten het contract met Alka Matewa per direct te beeindigen. Deze onverwachte beslissing komt nadat Alka Matewa gisteren niet is opkomen dagen voor zijn gevecht tegen Lefterio Perego. De dag ervoor was Alka Matewa niet in staat het contractuele vastgestelde gewicht voor zijn partij tegen Lefterio Perego te halen.
BFN Group betreurt deze beslissing maar wenst Alka desondanks heel veel succes in zijn carriere.
